The hyperbaric oxygen chamber is used for many conditions.
Claustrophobia is not usually experienced in this chamber, in
fact, patients are able to sit up. It comfortably
seats two, and teenagers can even crawl around and peak
out of all of the windows!
The hyperbaric chamber is equipped with a nurse call button,
comfortable pillows, and a valve for decompression so the
patient can exit if needed. |

Hyperbaric Medicine or
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is the medical use of oxygen at a
higher than atmospheric pressure.
These increases in the pressure
of oxygen result in more oxygen being dissolved in the
blood and cerebrospinal fluid when a patient is in the
hyperbaric chamber.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Protocols at the
Stark Clinic vary with patient Chinese and other established
medical organ, tissue (Zang Fu organ) Diagnosis as well as
other specific cellular needs. Reperfusion and oxygen
uptake measurements show multiplied advantages.
The following are
approved indications by the
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Committee (UHMS):
-
Air or Gas Embolism
-
Carbon
Monoxide
Poisoning (also complicated by cyanide poisoning)
-
Crush Injury,
Compartment Syndrome, other Acute Traumatic Ischemias
